Lanier South West is Now Officially a Carbon Neutral Company

 We are proud to announce that Lanier have officially achieved carbon-neutral status! This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability, reducing our carbon footprint, and making a positive environmental impact.

Our Carbon Footprint & Offsetting Efforts

As part of our commitment to transparency and responsible, we conducted a Greenhouse Gas Assessment for 2024, produced by CO2balance UK Ltd, a leading provider of carbon management solutions. The assessment covers emissions from our Cheddar office and business travel during the reporting period January – December 2024.

Key Findings from Our 2024 Assessment

• Total Carbon Emissions: 25.1 tonnes of CO2e
• Emissions per Employee: 2.79 tonnes CO2e
• Largest Emission Sources:
  • Company Vehicles (Small Diesel) – 40.21%
  • Company Vehicles (Large Diesel) – 51.77%
  • Other sources include electricity, gas, water, waste disposal, and recycling.

To fully offset our emissions, CO2balance has purchased 26 carbon credits on our behalf. These credits support Gold Standard-certified projects focused on environmental and social benefits, including:

✅ Rwanda Energy Efficient Stove Project – Reducing firewood consumption and indoor air pollution.
✅ Uganda Community Borehole Project – Providing clean water while cutting carbon emissions.

Certified Carbon Neutral

On 19th February 2025, we received our official Carbon Neutral Certificate, confirming that Lanier South West has fully offset its emissions and is now a CarbonZero company, certified by CO2balance UK Ltd.
