Committed to Offsetting Carbon Emissions Since 2009
Since 2009, Toshiba have been dedicated to offsetting the carbon emissions produced by its multifunction printers (MFPs), ensuring that they meet the "CarbonZero" standard. Partnering with CO2balance, Toshiba have calculated the carbon footprint of each machine, including the production, manufacturing, and transportation processes.
The emissions from these machines are offset through impactful projects, such as the Kenyan Energy Efficient Stove initiative and the Ugandan Borehole Project, which improve communities' lives while reducing carbon emissions.
Sustainable Development Goals
The 2030 Agenda, presented by the United Nations in 2015, serves as a plan of action for people, the planet, and prosperity. It recognises that eradicating poverty is the greatest global challenge and an essential requirement for sustainable development. The Agenda encourages all nations to collaborate in achieving these goals, and Lanier are committed to supporting these objectives through our partnership with Toshiba.
